Carrot IO HD-SDI Module Successfully Passes Functional Testing
One of the input/output modules from the Carrot IO lineup — HD-SDI — has successfully passed functional testing.
During the current tests, the following formats were verified:
Formats 1080i/50/59.94/60 and 720i/50/59.94/60 were verified during earlier testing phases.
During the current tests, the following formats were verified:
- HD720p/50/59.94/60
- 1080p/23.98/24/25/29.97/30/50/59/59.94/60
Formats 1080i/50/59.94/60 and 720i/50/59.94/60 were verified during earlier testing phases.
- Tri-level Sync was used as the reference signal.
- SDI input and output configuration was managed through a user-friendly graphical interface within a custom-developed PC-based media device control environment.
- As for other models in the Carrot IO SDI lineup, software development for the 3G-SDI module has been completed, and its new high-efficiency cooling system is currently undergoing testing.
- Development is also underway for a 12G-SDI input/output module.
